Enabling Extra Google Services

Every member of the University has access to a Google Workspace account on their University account. This is helpful if you wish to sign in with Google Chrome and keep your browser history, bookmarks and settings synced across devices. You can also use some Google services that you may find helpful such as Google Maps. By default, UIS keeps these services disabled but you can enable them.

You can find out more information about Google Workspace provided by the University over on the UIS website.

Opt-in to extra Google Services

To enable the extra Google services, you can do the following:

Once logged in you'll be presented with the Service Preferences page.

You can then use the toggle at the top of the page called Additional Google Apps Bundle to enable all the additional services at once, or use the individual toggles lower down for each service.
