Login to the People XD Smartphone app

Step 1 Downloading the app

Apple devices

  1. Open the App Store app .
  2. Browse or search for the Access PeopleXD app , then tap the app.
  3. Tap Get.  You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.
  4. Open the app.
  5. Set up the recommended application settings:
    • Local caching: opt in
    • Crash reporting opt out
    • Analytics: opt out
  6. Click Done.

Android devices

  1. Open the Play Store app .  You might need to sign into your Google account.
  2. Browse or search for the Access PeopleXD app , then tap the app.
  3. Tap Install.  It may ask you permissions to continue, tap Accept.
  4. Open the app
  5. Set up the recommended application settings:
    • Local caching: opt in
    • Crash reporting opt out
    • Analytics: opt out
  6. Click Done.

 

Step 2 Logging in

Once you have downloaded the app, click on the shortcut on your phone.

Access PeopleXD :

You will then need to enter the access code. This is: stjcp

 

You will then see the below screen: 

CRSid -

If You have a CRSid email (University IT account  XXXX@cam.ac.uk), Enter your CRSid email and click on Next. Your sign-in password is the same as your desktop password.

Casual Staff -

If you are a casual staff member, enter the personal email address you supplied to HR and click "Next." Then, enter your password. If you have enabled 2FA, a code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter that code and click Sign in.

Click LOGIN.

If you have a PIN to open your phone, you may be required to enter this.

Step 3 Authentication

The app asks you to approve the request through Microsoft authentication or via your mobile number. 

If you don't have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed, choose the mobile number option. Enter your mobile number, and a code will be sent to your phone. Then, enter that code.

Open your Microsoft Authenticator app, enter the number displayed, and click Yes to approve the sign-in.

Now go back to your PeopleXD app, and click Continue.

Now, you are successfully logged into the App.
